Vicenza, 3 km. away, was placed on UNESCO’s World Heritage list and is
never crowded with tourists. Instead, it is a tour through the history
of architecture. Both Verona (with its Roman Opera Arena) and
mesmerizing Venice can be reached by car in 30/50 minutes.
Outside peak season, the area has a lot to offer also: golf
courses, fashion outlet stores and interesting villages like Marostica
and Bassano del Grappa. The winter sport spot Asiago is a one-hour
drive. Bus stop is near. Groceries in Arcugnano (at 1 km.) or Vicenza.
